Jordan Schools Project
The Jordan Schools Project:
- Is a multi-year project to convert teacher training for electronic delivery.
- Provides up to 10 online teacher training modules.
- Integrates the training modules into EduWave, a course management system.
- Trains Ministry of Education personnel integrate and manage training.
Seward International leads the training development effort. The training effort:
- Uses content from extensive training materials developed in Arabic.
- Condenses the content and produces online versions.
- Delivers a series of one-hour modules for teachers new to project schools.
- Addresses topics including:
- Culture, mission, and vision
- New ways for teaching
- Involving parents and community
- Physical environment for the new kindergarten classrooms
- Management information systems
- USAID funds the project
- Creative Associates International leads the project
- Seward International is an implementation partner
