Seward to Develop Online Algebra and Chemistry Courses

Courses based on content developed by the University of the South Pacific

Minneapolis, Minnesota, October 15, 2009 - The World Health Organization (WHO) in Fiji has engaged Seward International to design online courses in algebra and chemistry based on classroom courses developed by the University of the South Pacific (USP).

The primary users of the algebra and chemistry courses will be high school graduates and/or healthcare workers with no college level courses and who lack the basic algebra and chemistry skills required for entrance into country or regional nursing or medical schools. Seward International's instructional design and programming team will work closely with USP faculty to design and develop the courses for deployment in the Moodle course management system.
