Seward to Develop Online STI Training for World Health OrganizationOnline STI Training Aimed at Healthcare Workers in Pacific Island Countries
Minneapolis, Minnesota, October 1, 2009 - The World Health Organization (WHO) in Fiji has engaged Seward International to develop the design for an interactive online version of the WHO print-based course, "Comprehensive Management of Sexually Transmitted Infections in Pacific Island Countries". The primary users of the STI course will be healthcare workers in Pacific Island Countries. The Comprehensive Treatment of STI in PICs will be based on the materials developed by WHO and modified for the region. The course is comprised of eight modules, which will packaged as SCORM modules and made available to learners through the Pacific OnLine Health Network's (POLHN) Moodle course management system. A CD version also will be produced for learners without an Internet connection. |
